During the spring break, February 20-24, PING PONG POWER Malmö visited the sports hall in Limhamn where everyone had the opportunity to try table tennis.
Together with the city of Malmö’s activity Kul i Malmö, PING PONG POWER in collaboration with Limhamn’s BTK once again invited to a try-on activity. This time we went to Limhamn’s sports hall, where our talented PING PONG POWER employees Hugo Törngren, Charlie Ridegård, Georgios “Gino” Gerakios, Lowa Palmnert, Hannes Lidén Isaksson and Emilia Persson were on site in various constellations throughout the holiday and spread ping-pong joy.
– I would like to say that this was the best PPP week so far for me, says Charlie Ridegård, who has been to several events before, and who was on site most of the week in Limhamn.
Charlie continues:
– Hugo and Gino have been visiting some schools before the spring break, which certainly attracted more young girls and boys. The visitors have been very enthusiatic. In conclusion, a very good week!
During the spring, PING PONG POWER Malmö will continue to visit various places around the city, and then follow up last summer’s success at Ribban, Big Five and the Malmö Festival with a similar arrangement this year.
In addition to inspiring, playing and teaching table tennis to the visitors in Limhamn’s sports hall, the PPP employees informed about the European Table Tennis Championships which will take place in Malmö Arena this autumn.
– PING PONG POWER is a fantastic way for us to reach out with table tennis in Malmö so that the whole city can have the opportunity to try the sport before the upcoming championships. We hope for great interest and that the people of Malmö want to be part of filling the arena, says Peter Johansson, project manager for the European Table Tennis Championships in Malmö.
Maria Christoforaki from PING PONG POWER Tjejraketen was also on site in Limhamn’s sports hall this Tuesday, she played and talked about upcoming events – especially the girls’ festival that will take place in Halmstad May 18-21.
